Select or create a business

The My businesses page shows all businesses you can access. From here, you can manage an existing business, open its customer page, or create a new one.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in with the correct user account.
  • You know whether you need to manage an existing business, create a new one, or accept an invitation.

Manage an existing business

  1. Find the business in the list. Use the search field if you have several.
  2. Check that its status is Active.
  3. Select Manage.
  4. The first time, Get started normally opens. Once setup is complete, Overview opens instead.

You can always select Switch business at the top of the left-hand menu to return here.

Create a new business

  1. Select Create new business.
  2. Choose an industry and answer the questions about how the business operates.
  3. Enter the business information and required legal details.
  4. Select a subscription when prompted.
  5. Complete the Get started checklist before publishing.

The industry you select affects the features and names you see. For example, a salon may see Services and Booking, while a restaurant may see Menu, Orders, and Tables.

If you have been invited to a business

Open the invitation link you received, sign in with the correct user account, and accept the invitation. The business should then appear under My businesses.

If it does not appear:

  • check that the invitation was sent to the correct user
  • ask the owner to check that the invitation is still valid
  • sign out and back in before trying again
  • contact support if the business is still missing

Each business card may also include actions for copying the public link and opening the directory listing. Test the link in a private browser window before sharing it with customers.
