AI Marketing

Use AI Marketing to get campaign ideas, generate channel-specific content, and schedule publishing. AI creates a draft based on the information you select, but the business is responsible for checking and approving the content.

Preview: The marketing features are under development and may change or not work as expected. Always check what is actually available to the business before planning a campaign.

Prerequisites

  • The AI Marketing app is available to the business, and your subscription and role provide access.
  • The business name, description, logo, products or services, and opening hours are up to date.
  • You know which manager or administrator will check prices, claims, images, and legal terms and approve publication.
  • The Facebook Page must be connected before publishing directly to Facebook.
  • Email requires a configured sender name and recipients who have consented to marketing.
  • Instagram is shown as a preview and does not have a complete publishing flow in the current solution.
  • Some AI actions use credits, depending on the subscription.

What you will learn

  • how to configure your brand, channels, schedule, and notifications
  • how to create and review an AI-generated campaign
  • how to use automated suggestions without publishing content without oversight
  • how to understand campaign statuses and common errors

Two marketing areas

  • Marketing brings together channels, posts, calendar, distribution history, analytics, and tools.
  • AI Marketing brings together the AI overview, campaigns, suggestions, analytics, and settings.

Both areas may require the AI Marketing app and a subscription that includes the feature. Tools marked Coming soon are not ready for use yet.

A regular employee can work with drafts when their role permits it, but approval, channel setup, scheduling, and publishing are normally restricted to a business manager or administrator.

AI Marketing → Campaigns creates content for marketing channels. The Campaigns app creates discounts and coupon codes that are calculated in orders. Read Campaigns and discount codes for sales discounts.

Complete the basic setup first

Open AI Marketing → Settings and review the tabs:

  1. Social connections / Channels: Connect the correct Facebook Page. Configure the sender name and any reply-to address for email. Check what is marked as preview or coming soon.
  2. Brand voice: Choose a tone, content language, and emoji usage. Add a brand description, default hashtags, and any custom AI instructions.
  3. Publishing schedule: Choose the time zone, quiet hours, maximum number of posts, and default publishing times.
  4. Automation: Decide whether AI should create a weekly batch of suggestions, how many suggestions it should create, and when they should be ready for review.
  5. Notifications: Choose which campaign events and suggestions should trigger notifications, and whether notifications should appear in the app, by email, or both.

Automated suggestions are drafts. Nothing is published until the business reviews and approves it.

Create a campaign

  1. Open AI Marketing → Campaigns.
  2. Select Create campaign.
  3. Enter a clear campaign name.
  4. Choose a campaign type, such as promotion, seasonal, re-engagement, loyalty reward, new menu, event, review request, quiet period, or custom.
  5. Describe the message, offer, and objective. More specific context normally produces a better draft.
  6. Select at least one channel enabled for the campaign. Facebook and email have their own setup; Instagram is still in preview.
  7. Choose the products, categories, and business information AI should use as context.
  8. Choose an image style, upload an image, or generate one when the feature is available.
  9. Select Generate AI content.
  10. Read and edit the text, image, subject, button text, and preview for each channel.
  11. Save the campaign as a draft and submit it for approval once everything has been checked.
  12. A manager or administrator approves it and selects a publishing action the channel actually supports.

Normally, only campaigns that are still Draft or Pending approval can be edited. Check the final preview before approval.

Use AI suggestions

Under AI Suggestions, you can create new ideas manually or through the weekly automation.

For each suggestion, you can:

  • edit the text
  • save it as a draft
  • publish to a connected Facebook Page when permissions allow
  • choose a future date and time for Facebook publishing
  • reject the suggestion

The Automated suggestions, Pending, Accepted, and Rejected tabs help you see what remains. Marking or accepting a suggestion does not publish it. If Facebook is not connected, you can still work with the draft, but direct publishing is unavailable.

Understand the statuses

StatusMeaning
DraftThe campaign can be edited and has not been submitted for approval.
Pending approvalA responsible person must approve or reject it.
ApprovedThe content is approved, but not necessarily published.
ScheduledPublishing is set for a future time.
ActiveThe campaign is published and running.
CompletedThe campaign has finished.
FailedPublishing or processing failed; check the channel and error message.
CanceledThe campaign will not be published or continued.

Always check before publishing

  • that prices, discount terms, dates, and opening hours are correct
  • that the business has permission to use the image and text
  • that AI does not promise products, results, or availability that do not exist
  • that the correct Facebook Page, Instagram account, or recipient list is selected
  • that the content does not include personal data that should not be published
  • that the preview looks correct on each channel

AI jobs may store instructions, responses, and a snapshot of the context used for diagnostics. Do not include passwords, API keys, payment data, or unnecessary personal data in the campaign description or custom AI instructions.

Common problems

The channel cannot be selected or published to

Open Marketing → Channels or AI Marketing → Settings and check the connection. Facebook requires a Page you have permission to manage. Email requires sender setup. Instagram and other channels marked preview or coming soon cannot be used as complete publishing channels.

AI creates weak or incorrect content

Update the business profile, products, and Brand voice. Choose relevant products or categories as context, and enter a more specific message before generating again.

The campaign cannot be edited

Check its status. Published, active, completed, or canceled campaigns may be locked. Create a new draft if the existing campaign can no longer be changed.

A scheduled post was not published

Check the campaign status, time zone, channel connection, and any error messages. Do not create a copy until you have checked whether the first publication actually reached the channel.
